Past Walks

2007 was an excellent year for the club. In July, both Bill and Geri Stockman were presented with the "Meritorious Service Award." The AVA bestows this award upon outstanding individuals who have given at least five years of service to the AVA and served as a club elected officer. No more than six of these awards are given biennially in each region of the AVA.

Additionally, this web site won the AVA 2007 Publicity Award - Website Honorable Mention.

Over one hundred walkers completed the September "Historic Sandpoint and Pend d' Oreille Bay Trail" walk which followed a picturesque path around the northwest end of the lake before winding past a number of local landmarks in town. It was one of the best attended walks anywhere in the Inland Northwest in 2007.
